Cherry Blossom Fair at Tokyo International School

Festival banner - 'Tokyo International School Cherry Blossom Fair - Welcome All!'

We supported the annual Cherry Blossom Fair once again this year at Tokyo International School. This year’s event included face painting, nail art experience for kids, a silent auction where visitors could bid on merchandise, flamenco, a koto performance and more upon the stage, many things that entertained kids and adults alike. The many international food stalls were bustling with activity as well.

Tokyo International School was established in 1995 by the Newell’s, who were looking for a more rounded and global education for their children. The school offers K-12 an IB (International Baccalaureate) education. With the help of students, staff, and community, TIS is truly global with 56 nations being represented.

We did not have a booth this time, but had the opportunity to sponsor a raffle ticket draw. Thank you to everyone’s efforts. We will keep on supporting the local community.
